James Biery is an American organist who is Minister of Music at Grosse Pointe Memorial Church in Grosse Pointe Farms, Michigan. He was Director of Music at the Cathedral of St. Paul in St. Paul, Minnesota from 1996-2010. He has over one hundred organ and choral compositions in print, published by MorningStar, Concordia, Augsburg-Fortress, GIA Publications, Oregon Catholic Press, and Boosey & Hawkes.
Marilyn Biery, AAGO, ASCAPlus award winner, has served as Director of Music Ministries at The First Church of Christ in Hartford, Connecticut, Associate Director of Music at the Cathedral of Saint Paul in Saint Paul, Minnesota, and most recently Minister of Music at Metropolitan United Methodist Church, Detroit, Michigan. A number of her works are published by GIA Publications where she also writes the Keyboard to Keyboard column in the GIA Quarterly magazine.
Bex Gaunt is Director of Contemporary and World Liturgical Music at the Basilica of Saint Mary in Minneapolis. Bex is a GIA composer and her work as a hymn tune writer has allowed her to collaborate with esteemed text authors such as Adam M. L. Tice, David Bjorlin, Chris Shelton, and Delores Dufner, OSB.
Zack Stachowski is currently the Director of Music and Liturgy at Guardian Angels Catholic Community in Oakdale, MN. As a liturgical composer with GIA Publications, Zack released his first collection in 2017, “God Never Tires”. Zack can be heard on violin, guitar, and vocals on many recordings released by GIA. In addition to his work in liturgical music, Zack enjoys an active career performing in orchestral, chamber and solo capacities throughout the United States.
